Blood Drive - March 10, 2007

In union with the American Red Cross and the Blood Center of New Jersey, Immaculate Conception Parish was able to meet their Blood Drive Goal of over 30 donations. Forty three parishioners and friends of the parish participated in this event contributing thirty-nine pints of blood to the Blood Center.
The mission of The Blood Center of New Jersey is to serve the patients, physicians, hospitals and medical centers in New Jersey by providing the safest, most technologically advanced blood and blood products of the highest quality. The Blood Center of New Jersey supplies over 100,000 blood products annually to the hospitals and medical centers of New Jersey.
We would like to extend a special thank you to Erin Lowe, American Red Cross Director of Blood Programs, for speaking to our Parish on March 3rd and 4th, and all those in the community who participated in this event. People like you make the difference between life and death for hundreds of patients in our community hospitals each year.
